Knife Availability

If our books are currently open for custom orders, there will be an option to place an order on the Shop page, under “Book Openings”.

The most reliable way to know when our books are opening is to follow us on Facebook and Instagram.  As soon as we have a date for opening our books, we will announce that on the website, Facebook, and Instagram. We will not be able to provide a guestimate of when they might open.  If no announcement has been made, we currently do not have a planned date for when our books will open.     

We do not keep a waiting list.  To us a waiting list means that you are guaranteed to get a specific knife model at some point in the future.  This means if 1000 people sign up on the list, we have to guarantee that 1000 model X knives get built and released into the community.  That is not really a guarantee we are prepared to make for a couple of reasons:

  1. We are not a large production knife company.
  2. We do not want to over-saturate the knife community with any model.
  3. We want the opportunity to keep innovating and constantly improve.  We believe if you keep doing the same thing over and over again, your ideas become stagnant and you slowly settle into the status quo.

Any abandoned knives we have available are put up for lottery on either Facebook or Instagram.  

We do not accept deposits for orders when our books are not open.  

Knives made available are all sold as makers choice.  We currently do not offer the option to customize configurations after they are made available for sale. 

Knife Maintenance and Upgrades

The last week of every month, we set aside time to perform spa treatments and do general maintenance.  All knives received before the last Monday of the month are returned in the first week of the following month.  

You can reserve a maintenance spot and see standard pricing here.  Once your spot is reserved, an email will be sent with instructions on how to proceed.  

Maintenance spots typically sell out within 2 weeks.  These spots are opened on the first Monday and Tuesday of each month.  

We handle warranty work outside of our normal upgrades and maintenance work.  If we have made a mistake, reach out and let us know.  We will correct the issue and get the knife back in your hands as quickly as possible.

The detent system in each knife is selected and fine tuned to accomodate slight variations in the lock bar handle and the blade.  While we can understand why it would  be nice to swap a Near Mirror M390 for a Stone Wash M390 or a Damasteel blade, it is not feasible at this time.

We currently do not offer a completely new anodization scheme on previously sold knives.  What we do offer is a complete refresh of the original anodization.  Reserve a maintenance spot here.

At this time we do not offer or take orders for upgraded hardware, clips, or spacers.  If at any time this changes, this will be an option made available on our Shop page.

Knife Lotteries

Payment for lottery knives is expected within 24 hours.  If payment is not received within this time frame, the sale is canceled.
