Quality in Sourcing

We work to find the best proven material to fill a need, and we believe this brings the greatest quality at the end of the day. While we have the ability to heat treat our own blades, we do not because it is not our specialty and getting the heat treat right is critical. When it comes to blade steel, we have learned to not chase the latest hyped material. Going forward you will see us sticking with the great all around super steels like M390 and Vanax. You cannot have a quality product if it is not reliably predictable.

Quality Components
